Hi. I am Vishal,
I’m a Strategy & Business Design Analyst at Monitor Deloitte and an IIT Madras grad with dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Data Science (B.Tech/IDDD). Professionally, I’ve completed summer internships at Procter & Gamble in their product supply domain and at Ramco Systems in enterprise software. In my current role, I focus on business analytics and problem-solving to deliver impactful results for businesses.
At college, I have been involved in data science research as part of my degree thesis and have worked on various mini-projects. I have also done some exciting sponsored projects at the Center for Innovation, including one that was selected for presentations at the G20 conference in India. Through coursework, I have taken an interest in areas such as finance, operations, game theory, and AI/ML.
Outside the classroom, I have been part of several teams and clubs on campus and have taken on key leadership roles. I led the flagship initiatives for the Shaastra 2023 Festival and served as a project lead with 180 Degrees Consulting, helping a mental health-focused non-profit to improve its outreach. Additionally, I have been involved with Enactus with on-site efforts to cater to underprivileged communities on the outskirts of Madras.
To recharge, I prefer playing table tennis with friends and going for morning jogs, as they give me the energy I need for the day ahead. I admit that when I do have some time off, I would love to delve into topics that are new to me and pick up that book I’ve been wanting to read, whether it’s science, history, or culture.
I always strive for personal growth and to make a meaningful change happen.
